F & B Brands
Gastronomy for the hotel industry should not be seen merely as a means of eating and drinking. Instead, every restaurant or bar should be regarded as an independent brand with its own identity, an individual story, and a corresponding look & feel. Grand Metropolitan develops gastronomy as genuine brands.

Farm to table
The “Farm to Table” quality and cooperation seal aims to certify restaurants, hotels, caterers, or individual goods and services of the Grand Metropolitan Group that are particularly committed to using regional and sustainable foods. It is intended to strengthen the connection between farmers and restaurateurs and provide consumers with a trustworthy guide to recognizing sustainable and regional gastronomy offers. A high proportion of the food used in the kitchen comes directly from regional producers. They are produced and processed locally, which reduces long transportation routes and associated CO2 emissions. The sourced foods are produced sustainably. This includes aspects such as organic farming, humane animal husbandry, and fair working conditions for employees.
